Hi! How do you get from Polynesian to Disney Springs? How long would it take? Is Disney Springs all retail and dining? Thank you!

    Hi Kelsey!

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I'm sure you're getting excited for your magical stay at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. We enjoyed all the tropical vibes of the Resort on our last stay at Walt Disney World and loved every moment. I can tell you I am equally in love with Disney Springs and all that the destination has become in these recent years. Your travel from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to Disney Springs will primarily be by way of Walt Disney World Bus Service. I'd say the trip is about 20-30 minutes. Another option for you to consider is the Minnie Van Service.

I find Disney Springs a beautiful and walkable waterfront town center with some of the best dining experiences in Walt Disney World. It also offers distinctive shopping experiences that range from unique boutiques to pure DisneyStyle. Disney Springs is also a beautiful locale to stroll around to take in really great entertainment — from live music to movies to bowling to stage performances to the new Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire by ILMxLAB and The VOID.

Kelsey, I definitely encourage you to spend time at Disney Springs to take it all in, whether daytime or nighttime.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
