Welcome back to planDisney! I'm thrilled you stopped by to see us again and that you have another visit planned, which appears to be approaching very quickly. Is there anything more exciting than a Disney countdown? I don't think so!

Magic Kingdom Park is scheduled to close at 4:30 PM on January 27, 2026, and the current
Hours & Events Calendar does not list any entertainment or fireworks that night. Unfortunately, the Cast Members I chatted with were unable to share specific details about the fireworks that evening and what you may be able to experience as a Guest outside of the park.
While I wish I had more information to share, I can offer a fun option that should provide you with an enjoyable evening and a glimpse of the fireworks if they do occur. The resorts located along the
Walt Disney World Monorail feature some fabulous lounges where you’ll find delicious food and drinks, and a "monorail crawl" is a great way to explore them all! If you start at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, you can "Be Our Guest" at
Enchanted Rose as you begin your evening with a drink and/or appetizer. From here, I'd suggest hopping on the monorail to
Disney’s Contemporary Resort and visiting
Steakhouse 71 Lounge. On this menu, you'll find options such as crab cakes and a burger - perfect for a main course. Finally, you can end the evening at
Tambu Lounge, located inside
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Here's a fun fact - you can find some of the items offered at 'Ohana on the menu here! On my last visit to this lounge, my panelist pal,
Kay, joined me, and we shared some of the famous bread pudding. What a sweet way to end the night!
If you plan to visit some (or all!) of these lounges, please keep in mind that reservations are not available and
parking at a resort hotel is restricted to those Guests with hotel or dining reservations. However, you can make use of Disney's
complimentary resort transportation to head to any of these properties from one of the theme parks.
