    The Polynesian will be under construction during my stay in March...the Kids Club, Monorail, and parts of the Sandy Beach will be closed...should I change my resort choice???...if so, what is the next best resort option???

    Hi Rhonda:

    Disney World is constantly upgrading and refurbishing Resorts and attractions for your future enjoyment.  It may sometimes be inconvenient, but it helps keep the experience fresh. 

    I've stayed at Resorts under construction, and I believe you will enjoy your vacation even if you decide not to change your Resort.  If you are concerned that you may not see Polynesian at its best, check out the Yacht or Beach Club Resorts, which share the Stormalong Bay pool, considered by many to be the best pool on property featuring a major water slide, several sections, and a lazy river.  Not only are these Resorts centrally located near that entertainment and restaurants of the Boardwalk area, but they are a quick walk away from Epcot, and long walk or short boat ride away from Hollywood Studios.  I also recommend Animal Kingdom Lodge, especially if you reserve a savanna-view room where your family can watch the animals walk by right outside your window.  The pools are great at Animal Kingdom Lodge. AKL Jambo House is home to the 11,000 square foot Uzima pool. The pool boasts a 67-foot slide. There is also Pumbaa's Fun and Games Arcade. AKL Kidani Village is home to the wonderful Samawati Springs pool.
