Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is truly a tropical paradise. There are waterfalls, exotic flowers, expansive swimming pools, and a beach with a view of Cinderella Castle. What more could you ask for?
Per the website, construction at the Polynesian is scheduled through late 2026. The most notable construction is the scaffolding near the Great Ceremonial House, and reconfiguration on the front entrance roadway. While there is no mention of any refurbishments scheduled for next spring, plans are always subject to change. Even with current construction, most amenities are still available, and the construction team really does their best to keep noise and interruptions to the guest experience to a minimum. If you decide to stay at the Polynesian, you are going to find so many things to love about this resort. I am a big fan of walking over to the TTC to hop on the EPCOT
monorail. The walk is super easy (about 10 minutes from the Great Ceremonial House to the TTC) then the monorail ride to
EPCOT is around 10 minutes. Before entering the monorail station in EPCOT, the monorail track loops through the park for a bird's eye view of some of its attractions. What a wonderful welcome to the excitement of EPCOT!
There are also some great dining options at the Polynesian.
'Ohana is always a hit with my family, and Kona Cafe offers an amazing breakfast with its Tonga Toast. Dining Reservations are very important as these locations are very popular.
