What to do? Want the Poly,I am in between garden club level and theme park view. I am hoping for free dining in October 2013. If free dining is not offered, I would go with the club level and no dining plan. Should I book theme park view upfront or club?

Disney's Polynesian Resort is a favorite of many, including me!  I'm excited to hear that you are planning a visit for later this year.

As of now, free dining is not being offered for your timeframe.  What might happen is anyone's guess.   If I were you, I would book the garden view club level room.  It's only $5-$10 more per night, and the club level experience is a special treat.  What's more, is that you will see that castle view from the comfort of the concierge lounge whenever you like.  Additionally, room only discounts have not been released for that time, but I expect them to be announced soon if they are to happen at all.  Even if you make a reservation now, you can change it to reflect a discounted rate if one should become available.

Keep an eye on Special Offers at the Walt Disney World Resort for current pricing and information.

I wish you a magical vacation, Amy!
