Hi Maureen! Being a Florida Resident, I’m sure you understand how unpredictable the weather can be. Thunderstorms can last all day or be over in 5 minutes. Usually the water parks will just tell everyone to get out of the water until the storm passes, unless they can tell on the radar that it will last all day. The best place to hang out is Lottawatta Lodge. This restaurant is indoors and will provide the best covering while you ride out the storm. You can also take cover in the gift shop at the front of the park. When guests see a storm coming, the majority of them leave. Stay safe through hurricane season! Leslie
