What is the cancellation/refund policy for the theme park and Disney hotels? If there are no refunds, can I apply the credit towards future visits to DisneyWorld or Disneyland? Thank you.

Hi May, and thank you for visiting planDisney!

With every Walt Disney World Resort vacation, there is always the possibility of having to modify or cancel for many reasons. The good news is that you can make changes and cancel if need be as long as the requirements are followed.

If you have a vacation package reserved, 30 days or more before your arrival, any amounts paid (minus any cancellation fees from a third-party vendor.) will be refunded. If you have to cancel 2 to 29 days before your scheduled arrival date, you will receive a refund minus a cancellation fee per package. Cancellations made one day or less before your arrival, the total price of the vacation package is non-refundable. If you wish you modify your reservation, you are responsible for any price difference in the package (should it apply). A room-only reservation can be canceled without penalty up to five days before your scheduled arrival date.

Theme Park Tickets are non-refundable; however, the tickets can be changed or modified as long as the changes occur before the original ticket start date.

Please let us know if you have additional questions prior to your arrival.

    Have a great day!
