Welcome to planDisney, Yaacov.
I truly hope you don't have to make the not-so-magical decision to cancel your
Walt Disney World vacation. As Ursula says, "Life's full of tough choices, isn't it?" Sometimes, life happens and we have to change our plans.
To cancel your trip, Yaacov, you'll need to call the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservation team. A friendly Cast Member will give you all the help you need.
Although any policy is subject to change, the
Walt Disney World cancelation policy currently states that if you cancel a Disney Resort Hotel Package 30 days or more prior to your arrival, you should expect to receive a full refund. However, if you cancel 29 days to 2 days before your arrival date you will receive a full refund, minus a $200 penalty per room. This includes any theme park tickets you've purchased with your room and ticket package. If you wait to cancel until 1 day or less before your visit then the full package is not refundable. Depending on the exact package you booked (for example, if you booked a third-party hotel), there might be some other cancelation fees that are applicable.
As Remy from Ratatouille once said, "The only thing predictable about life is its unpredictability." If you do have to cancel, hopefully you'll be able to reschedule another trip soon. "When life gets you down, you know what you gotta do? Just keep swimming."
Thanks for stopping by
planDisney, Yaacov. See ya real soon.
