Hi there, Mandy! Thanks for visiting planDisney with your question. Welcome!
I'm glad you stopped by for some clarification, because Disney Cruise Line does have some specific requests when it comes to bringing prescription medication onboard. Guests are asked to bring their medications in original containers in their carry-on luggage. It's also requested that you bring a copy of the prescription, including the type, strength, and dosage information. This is for your safety, in the event that medical needs arise.
Vitamins may be brought onboard, and bringing them in a pill organizer is acceptable. I know I'm grateful for that, because my vitamins come in large containers, and I'm happy to save some space!
I hope it's not too long before you are packing for your getaway at sea. When it's time to pull out the suitcases, Disney Cruise Line has a helpful
packing checklist to reference on the website. Please also be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before heading out for adventure. If you already have it downloaded, you can update to the latest version. I like to check the app regularly to see the fun-filled character countdown ticking away the seconds till embarkation day!
If you have additional questions, please visit planDisney again. My pals and I will be here for you.
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
