    what is the policy on needing to change/postpone vacation package dates in case of illness within 2-3 days of vacation?

    Hello and welcome to planDisney, Marlena!

    I am sorry you may have to change your Walt Disney World Resort vacation plans. I know that it is disappointing, but the good news is that the change can occur to accommodate your new dates. 

    Changes to your reservation (travel dates, length of stay, etc.) can be made as long as availability exists per the 2023 Website Package Terms and Conditions. Please note that if your new dates result in costs higher than what you originally paid, you will be responsible for the balance of those changes. In addition, because you are asking about making the change less than 30 days before your arrival, it will be subject to a change fee per package. If the change needs to happen, I recommend calling Disney Resort Hotel Reservations as soon as possible at (407) 934-7639 to allow a cast member to assist you with the change in your reservation.
