Has the policy changed so we can start our day at one park and then hop to Hollywood Studios to build a lightsaber? I understand you could not do that last year and I was wondering if it is acceptable now. Thank you.

    Hello Ronald!

I am excited that you are planning to build a Savi's Workshop Handbuilt Lightsaber! I had the opportunity to build a Lightsaber at Savi's Workshop with my son and his wife on my Disney vacation in November 2021, and I can tell you firsthand that it was amazing! It was a Star Wars religious experience!

If you have the Park Hopper Option on your Walt Disney World Tickets, you can Park Hop after 2:00 pm as long as there is park availability for the park you are going to. To do this, first, you will have to make a Theme Park Reservation for the Walt Disney World Theme Park, where you will begin your day, and you must enter that park before you are eligible to Park Hop on that particular day. You do not have to reserve the second theme park of the day that you are planning on Park Hopping to. Remember that park hopping is currently available after 2:00 pm each day based on availability. You can check the Park Hours Calendar or the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date Park Hopper hours for each theme park. So in your case, you would have to wait until 2:00 pm to Park Hop to Disney's Hollywood Studios. My recommendation is to make your Savi's Workshop reservation after 2:00 pm if you desire to start your Disney day at another Walt Disney World theme park.

I hope that you have an incredible Walt Disney World vacation!
