Hey there MaryLisa, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
One of our favorite experiences at Walt Disney World Resort is enjoying all the delicious food Mickey and gang bake and cook. From sushi to sundaes and pizza to pot roast, there is something for every palate.
When
canceling a Disney Dining reservation where credit card guarantee is required you must cancel at least one day prior to your reservation. If you do not then a $10 per person cancellation/no show fee will be charged to your credit card (subject to change at any time). To avoid this fee, I set an alarm/reminder on my smartphone for two days in advance of my reservation.
Each restaurant carries its own cancellation policy. It was in a blue scrolling box just before you approved your reservation. To find out the cancellation policy for your dining experiences you may contact (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 and speak with a Cast Member. They will give you all the details.
Disney Dad Tip: The challenge with last minute cancellations is that you may not be able to make a reservation at another Table Service experience. Before canceling, open the
My Disney Experience mobile app, search for a new dining reservation and book it before canceling the other. That way you free get to see what is available before discarding your original choice.
MaryLisa, enjoy making many delicious and Magical Memories.
