"Welcome home," Kimberly! I love connecting with another Disney Vacation Club Member from Pennsylvania and am happy to help.
As a Member who likes to squeeze Magic from every
Vacation Point, I appreciate your conundrum. Let's talk about a few options.
First, depending on when your
Disney Cruise Line vacation is booked, it
might be possible to use your excess Vacation points for that purpose. Vacation points can be converted to reservation points to book cruises prior to the last four months of your Use Year
(meaning if your Use Year is almost over, that won't be an option). The other consideration is the points charts for your particular sailing. Please take a look
HERE to view a the 2022 Points Charts for cruises.
Kimberly, another option to save those Vacation Points would be to
bank them into the next Use Year IF you are within the first 8 months. A quick and easy way to check your banking window is to log into your Disney Vacation Club account and then hover over the bold "My DVC" until you see "My Vacation Points." This page will show a summary of your current available points and any bankable points.
Finally, Kimberly, if you aren't able to use your points toward a cruise and you're past your banking window, I would consider upgrading your accommodations if you know you aren't able to add on another night or a separate stay. For example, depending on the season, the points difference between a 1-Bedroom and 2-Bedroom Villa is as low as 10 points per night! As my kids get older, I love the space afforded in the larger accommodations. Room to spread out always turns a trip into a true vacation!
Kimberly, I hope this helps as you're thinking about how best to enjoy those last 75 Vacation Points. If you have any additional questions, please come on back to planDisney. We are all EARS!
