I have points for use year march 2025. Can I use them to book for December 2025? Thanks

    Hi Emma,

Welcome home, and welcome back to planDisney!

Thank you for bringing your question to us today. It’s always great to help fellow Disney Vacation Club Members, and it’s even better when it’s a fellow Brit!

I know that use years can be a little tricky to navigate—our family has two memberships, at two different resorts, with two different use years, so I completely understand the challenge. While I can’t see the specifics of your vacation point account, I can discuss it in general.

If you have March 2025 use year points, those points will be valid for stays from March 1, 2025, through February 29, 2026. This means you can absolutely use those points to book a stay in December 2025. Remember, you can make reservations at your home resort 11 months in advance, so bookings for December are already open now! For stays at other Disney Vacation Club Resorts, the 7-month window will allow you to book from May 2025 onward. (Keep in mind that resale members might have some restrictions depending on when they purchased.)

December will be an extra magical time of year to visit Walt Disney World, not only will the Disney Parks be decked out in Christmas decorations, but the resorts will be looking their festive best too! We particularly love Disney’s Wilderness Lodge at this time of the year, the Christmas Tree is spectacular!

I hope this answers your question, Emma, and I hope you have a brilliant time on your Walt Disney World holiday at the end of the year, if you have any further questions, please reach out to me, I would love to help.

    Have a magical day,

    Matt
