"Welcome home," Krystyna and thanks for dropping by planDisney with this very important question!
Krystyna, the year 2020 has certainly been one for the history books and many
Disney Vacation Club Members have needed to modify vacations or
rethink their point usage, just as you are. I love that you're hoping to serve as another guest's personal Fairy Godmother and grant the wish of extra points.
Krystyna, since it looks like you live in Canada (and since there is not a way to donate points through the Member portal), I would recommend
calling into Member Services and speaking with a Disney Vacation Club Guide about your specific account. Hopefully they can "point" you to a solution so those points don't turn into a pumpkin like Cinderella's carriage!
Krystyna, another idea would be to reach out to friends and family who might know someone able to travel at this time. For those lucky enough to live within a few hours drive to the Most Magical Place on Earth, those 22 points could be used for a two-night stay in January at
Disney's Old Key West Resort in a deluxe studio. If you find a friend or family member able to travel, you would just need to book their stay through your account but don't include yourself on the reservation. I used my points to book a vacation for my good friend and her family and while the trip was visible on my Disney Vacation Club Member portal, the trip was linked to her
My Disney Experience and she was indicated as the lead guest.
Krystyna, I hope this helps as you are contemplating how to make someone's day with those extra points. I'll be hoping that very soon you're able to make the most of your Membership and once again visit the
Disney Vacation Club Resort of your dreams. Please come on back and see us here at planDisney with any other questions you might have,
Lauren
