Hi there, Violy! Welcome Home to the
Disney Vacation Club corner of planDisney. Like Sulley and Mike Wazowski, we're a team--and I'm delighted to help with your vacation planning question.
I was particularly excited to see your question as I've been a bit obsessed with the new
Pixar Place Hotel at
Disneyland Resort! Formerly Paradise Pier Hotel, this hotel has been reimagined with unique touches inspired by the characters and worlds created by the dreamers and doers of Pixar. It looks simply amazing from the moment you step into the lobby to see a replica of Luxo Jr., the famous lamp from the Pixar logo---stick around for a while to watch it change colors, and explore the artwork. Bing Bong has been known to appear at the hotel from time to time, and you can also catch Joe Gardner from
Soul performing a jazzy set on the piano!
Violy, I'm happy to report that you can use
Vacation Points to book a magical getaway at Disneyland Resort! Pixar Place Hotel is a great choice, as it features an entrance directly into
Disney California Adventure Park. Staying on property also guarantees that you'll be able to take advantage of
Early Entry to both California Adventure Park and
Disneyland Park on select days.
As the hotel is part of the
Disney Collection, you can make your Pixar Place reservation through a vacation exchange. To complete the booking, simply call the wizards at
Member Services, who will convert the needed number of Vacation Points to Reservation Points just like magic! Keep in mind that all exchanges carry a one-time, non-refundable fee (currently $95, subject to change).
I hope this is just what you need to make your California dreamin' a reality, Violy! Please come visit us again at planDisney any time if we can help with any other vacation planning questions. Thanks for stopping by!
Stay Magical!
Susan
