Hi Kin, welcome home and welcome to planDisney! A trip to
Tokyo Disneyland sounds like so much fun! After my family’s upcoming trip to China this summer, Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will be the last two Disney theme parks on our list. But enough about me, let’s talk about how you can use your
Disney Vacation Club Vacation Points towards a stay at a Tokyo Disney Resort hotel!
You’re in luck! Here’s a
link to the point chart for the various Tokyo Disney Resort hotels for stays from October through December 2026. I peeked through and saw that rooms range from 44 to 100 points per night, depending on which Resort hotel and travel dates. So, you’ll definitely have enough Vacation Points to book a stay at Tokyo Disneyland!
As a reminder, DVC has several guidelines for these types of exchanges. First, you must be
eligible for Membership Extras in order to exchange your points in the Disney Collection (including the Tokyo Disney Resort). In addition, there’s typically a fee associated with these point exchanges (the point charts will indicate how much the fee is). In order to complete the booking, you’ll have to contact
Member Services.
Kin, have you enrolled in
Membership Magic Beyond? Of the many benefits of this optional program, including priority access to the DVC lounges at Walt Disney World and Disneyland, Membership Magic Beyond also waives transaction fees for exchanges in the Disney Collection (which includes Tokyo Disney Resort hotels!).
Kin, I hope this information is helpful for you as you plan out your future stay at Tokyo Disneyland. If you have any future questions regarding making the most of your DVC membership, please feel free to
contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Sean
