Bonjour Steven and
bienvenue to planDisney! Morning in Paris, the city awakens to the bells of Notre Dame. Listen, they’re beautiful, no? If you can’t hear them Steven, then let’s explore together on how you can use your Disney Vacation Club Vacation Points towards a stay at
Disneyland Paris!
Luckily for you Steven, I have the information you need on how to use Vacation Points towards a stay at one of the Disneyland Paris Resort hotels. First, you’ll want to review
the point charts for the specific Resort hotel, room type, and dates you are interested in. Currently, DVC has point charts available for stays at Disneyland Paris through March 2026. I recently spoke to a DVC Cast Member and they said that point charts for stays after March 2026 will be available once Disneyland Paris has confirmed them.
Next, you’ll want to
contact Member Services to complete your reservation. These types of bookings are known as exchanges within the
Disney Collection. This is important for you to know Steven as there are some additional guidelines for these types of bookings. For example, only DVC members
eligible for Membership Extras can exchange points for the Disney Collection. In addition,
the Rule of Four applies to these types of bookings, which means that reservations must be made prior to the last 4 months of your Use Year for stays within that Use Year. The booking window for these exchanges closes
14 days before your check-in date.
Also, you may be charged a transaction fee for these types of exchanges. Speaking of which, if you have additional plans to visit either Walt Disney World or Disneyland this calendar year, you may want to look into
Membership Magic Beyond! Besides waiving transaction fees for exchanges into the Disney Collection, this optional program has specially priced theme park tickets, priority access to the various DVC member lounges, and bonus One-Time-Use-Points.
Steven, I hope you find this information useful as you plan your trip to the City of Lights. Please say hello to Chef Remy for me as you visit Disneyland Paris. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to
contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney.
Au revoir!
Your pal,
Sean
