How many point can I buy if I don’t have enough for my reservation and how much per point?

Welcome Home, Regina! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. I love crunching the numbers for an upcoming Disney Vacation Club adventure, and it's my pleasure to share all the information you need about acquiring some extra Vacation Points. Let's get down to business!

I am constantly doing DVC math to make our next dream vacation a reality - and sometimes, we fall juuuuuust a bit short of the points we need for the trip we want. A great benefit of Membership is the ability to purchase One-Time-Use Points. This allows you to pay cash for up to 24 points to make up the difference for a reservation. These additional points are priced at $22.50 per point (subject to change) and can only be used for reservations within the 7-month booking window (not the 11-month Home Resort Priority Period).  They must be purchased when you make the reservation that requires them.

Regina, I definitely recommend checking out Membership Magic Beyond, which is an enhanced benefits package for Members that includes the option to purchase up to 12 One-Time-Use Points AND receive a bonus point for each point purchased. Depending on how many points you need, adding Membership Magic Beyond may save you some money! The package is $99 (subject to change) and valid through December 31, 2026.

Beyond the bonus points, there are some other great benefits to this Membership add-on. We purchased it last year and got quite a bit of use out of it. The 30-Day Memory Maker entitlement sealed the deal for us, but we also were able to enjoy priority access to the Member Lounges and take advantage of the special Character meet-and-greet that's offered most evenings at the ImaginAtrium lounge at EPCOT

I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes, Regina! Please come see us again at planDisney anytime if we can help with other questions about your DVC Membership or a dream Disney vacation - we're all ears!

    Stay Magical!
