Another POFQ question, we have a garden view room, will we experience alot of noise if we request a ground floor? Is the resort pretty well insulated from the floors above? We have also requested Bldg 4. Thanks for your help! Less than a month to go!!!

    Hi, Jennifer!

When my family stayed at French Quarter a few weeks ago, we were in the corner room, first floor, building 4 just across from the food court. Probably one of the busiest "intersections" of the resort and we did not hear much at all. Once in a while we would hear a group of kids running past, but hey, it's Disney World! Besides that our room was very quiet.

This location was so convenient. It was great to just dash across to the food court to refill our mugs or for a late night snack. The courtyard where nightly movies are shown was just steps away, so our kids could run out when then movie started.   I really think Building #4 is the perfect location.

I am so excited for your upcoming vacation! It is such a treat to stay at French Quarter, I am so jealous! Let me know if you have any last minute questions, and keep me posted on your vacation experience.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
