I see that POFQ has beignets!! Awesome, my fave :) We are staying at POR, do they also have beignets, or will we need to walk to POFQ to get them? And if so, how long is the walk from POR to POFQ? TIA!

Port Orleans French Quarter most certainly does have beignets and, um, let's just say that I've indulged in my fair share.  They are quite delicious.  French Quarter's sister resort, Port Orleans Riverside, does not offer beignets; guests wishing to partake will need to take the walk to French Quarter to purchase some.  Honestly, it's not such a bad thing either, because you will appreciate the chance to walk off all those calories!  The stroll from Riverside to French Quarter is quite pleasant, actually.  The walkway winds along the Sassagoula River and offers a peaceful respite for guests looking for some quiet time.  At a brisk pace it could probably be done in ten minutes but when we have our children with us it takes twice that.  Enjoy!
