    We have 7:25 p.m. reservations for the California Grill for a night where Wishes Fireworks are at 8 p.m. is that a good time for viewing the fireworks and can we get there early for the reservation and request a table with a good view?

    Hi Liz,

    A 7:25 dinner reservation for 8 p.m. Wishes should be perfect timing! That should give you time to be seated, look over the menu and have a drink or an appetizer before the fireworks begin.

    The recent renovations at California Grill expanded the windows, and many of the tables have a spectacular view. The lights inside the restaurant are dimmed during the fireworks to improve the experience, and you can hear the Wishes soundtrack.

     We like to step outside onto one of the two viewing platforms to watch Wishes when we dine at California Grill. From that height and distance, the sight is amazing. 

    The servers at the restaurant are among the best at Walt Disney World, and they take great care to time your food with Wishes so that the fireworks don't distract you from your meal....and the food doesn't distract you from the fireworks.
