We have 9:40pm reservations for California Grill. Is there any way we can arrive earlier to watch the 9pm fireworks show?

    Hello Cheryl,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

Whether dining at California Grill is an ending to your day spent in Magic Kingdom, or just a special evening out, you are in for a treat. The food is delicious, and the view is magical -- especially when it comes to watching the fireworks over Cinderella Castle.

Even though your dining reservation is after Disney Enchantment, you will still be able to catch the show from the observation deck, complete with piped in music and an incredible view! Simply head to the restaurant's check-in podium on the 2nd floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort about 30 minutes before the show. Let the Cast Member know you have a reservation for 9:40 but would like to watch the fireworks. You'll be escorted to a special elevator that will take you to the restaurant.

Also, be sure to check to see what times the Electrical Water Pageant will be floating by. Viewing the classic twinkling procession that began when Walt Disney World opened would be an added bonus to your special evening.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
