Howdy Brian!
Yippee! Dinner at the
Whispering Canyon Cafe! Come hungry because the endless skillets here are well, endless. If you can handle dessert, this spot is famous for its Granny Smith Apple Pie. Watch out for your server; he might get a bit rowdy.
The most direct and easiest way to reach
Disney's Fort Wilderness Lodge from
Disney's Pop Century Resort is to grab a ride share or taxi. Of course, this mode will entail some cost.
A free and more exciting way is by boat from the
Magic Kingdom. A bus at your will take you to the park and there you may board a water taxi to Fort Wilderness Lodge.
One of the perks of Pop is easy
Skyliner access. Hop aboard and be whisked away to
Disney's Hollywood Studios or
Epcot and then grab a bus to the Wilderness Lodge.
Allow ample time for the routes using Disney transportation. Travel and wait times together could take an hour and a half or more. Returning to your resort by bus/Skyliner or boat/bus will be tricker. The boat will run a good hour or more after the Magic Kingdom closes. Check Skyliner operation times the day of your dinner to make sure it is still running to Pop when you expect to return. Also be aware of Epcot and Hollywood Studio closing times to assure buses will be running to these parks after you finish your meal.
Enjoy your trip to visit Mickey!
