We have an 8 pm reservation at Ross and crown. How do we increase our chances of getting a good table for illumination viewing?

    Hi Rick!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The Rose & Crown Dining Room is one of three water-side dining dining locations in Epcot. But it's also pretty accurate in its representation of a locally owned, century old United Kingdom pub-style restaurant. I highly recommend the Fish & Chips as well as the Sticky Toffee Pudding.

The week of your visit IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth starts at 9:00 P.M. on weeknights and 10:00 P.M. on Friday and Saturday night. Your best bets for the closest views would be to request an outdoor table, with a window-side indoor table as your number two. These highly desired seats are first-come, first-served and cannot be reserved in advanced. However, if it were me, I'd already be in Epcot that day enjoying all of the fun of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival in addition to all of the everyday attractions. So I would swing by a few hours before the reservation to ask the host stand Cast Members if they had any tips about getting one of these tables.

As a last resort, there are two lesser known spots in the U.K. Pavilion on either side of the Rose & Crown Dining Room. These nooks are also water-side, and are seating areas for those who grab a bite from the Quick-Service Yorkshire County Fish & Chips Shoppe or a drink from the outdoor UK Beer Cart. You could always leave your indoor table to sit or stand in one of these areas while the show is happening, then go back inside to enjoy the rest of your meal after. (But do let your server know if this is your plan so they'll know you're coming back.)

I hope this helped, Rick, and We'll See You VERY Soon!
