Hi! We have a 9:35 p.m. reservation at the Polynesian's Ohana. We are staying at Ft. Wilderness. What do you suggest for transportation back to the cabin? I'm thinking Disney's transportation will not be running by the time we are finished eating. Thx!

    Hi Yvette!

I don't know what night you are going to dinner, so I couldn't check the park calendars myself.  Sorry!  Check to see what time the Magic Kingdom closes on the night you are going to the Polynesian Resort.  If the Magic Kingdom is open until 11 pm you should be fine; if it closes at 10 pm, it will be close.  If the Magic Kingdom is open late, you can simply take the monorail or the boat from the Polynesian back to the Magic Kingdom.  Then from there, catch the boat to Fort Wilderness.  Another option is to get off of the monorail at the Contemporary Resort and take the boat that runs between the Contemporary, the Wilderness Lodge, and Fort Wilderness.

If the Magic Kingdom is not open late, then the easiest solution is to simply a take a taxi from the Polynesian to Fort Wilderness.  However, another option would be to take a bus from the Polynesian to Downtown Disney and then once you are in Downtown Disney, take a bus back to Fort Wilderness.  The problem with taking the bus to Downtown Disney, in my opinion, is it simply makes for a long night when you probably just want to get "home" after dinner.

I hope this helps!  'Ohana is my favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World.  Enjoy, and write back if you have any more questions!
