We have a 4pm reservation for Hoop Dee Do on August 5. How do we get from the Magic Kingdom to Fort Wilderness and how long will it take?

    Hi Staci!

Brace yourself for some fun times and awesome food because the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue is an incredible experience.

Finding your way over to Pioneer Hall (where the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue is located) should be a pretty easy journey from the Magic Kingdom. Upon exiting the main gates, head straight toward the boat docks and you'll see a sign for boats that take guests over to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.

Once you're on the boat, it should take about 20 minutes to get there. However, I'd plan to have enough time to account for any waiting you may have to do at the dock. I'm super conservative when it comes to planning my travel time around Walt Disney World, so if I were you, I'd plan to be walking out of the Magic Kingdom about an hour before your reservation.

(Some people may think that's too much time. I'm constantly rushing when I'm at home, so I prefer to be as stress-free as possible when I'm on a Disney vacation! That's why I give myself ample time to get where I need to go.)

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

Make sure you save room for dessert, because the strawberry shortcake at the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review is definitely worth hootin' and hollerin' over.

I hope that helps! If you should have any other questions, please feel free to write back and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
