    Hello! We have an 8pm reservation at Akershus. Where is a good spot to watch Illuminations that is not that far from the restaurant?

    Guests can get a wonderful view of Illuminations from anywhere around World Showcase Lagoon.  Since you are dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway pavilion, simply walk out the door to get a great view of this nighttime spectacular!

    Remember that on most nights, Illuminations is at 9 pm, so you might be cutting it a bit close with an 8pm reservation.  I usually like to allow 75 - 90 minutes for a character dining experience, so you might have to decide between dining quickly or being late/missing some of Illuminations.   Assuming Illuminations is at 9 pm that evening, I suggest arrive for your reservation around 7:40 pm so you will be seated on time to try to fit in as much magic as possible during your evening in Epcot!  Good luck!
