    Hello, we have 8:00 pm res at chef mickey on our first day. We are planning to go to MK before that. How long will it take us to get to chef mickey and what is the quickest way to get there? Thanks for the help>

    Hi, Russell!   Getting to Chef Mickey's from the Magic Kingdom is very simple.   Once you exit the gates from the park, you can either turn right to the Resort Monorail and take the monorail to the first stop, the Contemporary Resort.  This trip will take about 15 - 20 minutes from the time you exit the gates with monorail wait time.

    Your other option is to turn left when you exit the gates and follow the walking path to the Contemporary.   This will take you about the same amount of time, so it is up to you if you walk or take the monorail.  If you are a few minutes early, you can enjoy the great gift shops located in the Contemporary!
