We have a 6:10pm Park Fare reservation and need to be at the Contemporary at 8:40pm for Pirate and Pals cruise. Is there enough time to do the dinner and then get to the cruise? We have our car, so should we drive from dinner to the cruise?.

    Hello Tracey!

I think your timeline will work out just fine.  Be sure to check-in for your dinner at 1900 Park Fare by 6pm. You are welcome to check-in sooner if that is an option for you.  In my experience, this sometimes helps in getting seated quicker.  Our family typically takes about an hour to enjoy character meals.  Usually, by then, all of the characters have made their way to you.  If not, let your server know who you have not visited with yet.  They can help expedite the process if need be.  For convenience purposes, I recommend that you drive over to Disney's Contemporary Resort after you have finished dinner at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  Although a very quick drive away, be sure to leave yourselves plenty of time to get to and from your car.  If you arrive early, there are fun shops to explore at the Contemporary Resort.  If I were you, I would leave 1900 Park Fare by 7:30 or 7:45pm.  I don't like to rush!  The drive itself is around 5-10 minutes once you are in your vehicle.  Have fun!

I wish you a truly magical vacation.
