Hey Howdy hey Amanda and welcome back to planDisney!
WOW! It sounds like you will be getting a huge treat on your next trip being able to first experience
Oga's Cantina and then walking through Hollywood Studios after closing with only a few people in the parks. Make sure to have your camera ready as the pictures at night with few people in the parks will be some shots you won't have many opportunities to capture! Thank you for your question on resort transportation as this will also be a big factor during your experience. Let's review the details and get you ready for your evening at Hollywood Studios.
You have it right that
resort transportation usually ends about 1 hour after the parks close. You can always check with the Cast Members toward the front of the park to see if you still have an option for the buses as it looks like you might be close to the end of the night for transportation as well. You still do have some options from there depending on the day of the week if you did miss the bus transportation.
The first and easiest option would be to rideshare. You can do this with companies such as Uber or Lyft and easily get from Hollywood Studios back to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. You can even look into a
Minnie Van which is available through the Lyft app and operates until 12:30 AM for an extra special ride back to your resort!
The other option you have depends on the day of the week your reservation is as well as if you have the Hopper pass on your theme park ticket. It looks like
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours take place at EPCOT on Monday, November 14th. If this is the date you will be at Hollywood Studios, you can always take the short walk to EPCOT. From there you will enter the back of the park at the International Gateway. You can then make your way to the front of the park to the monorail which will take you to the Transporation and Ticket Center right next to the Polynesian resort.
I hope this information helped get a plan together for your experience. Please feel free to reach back out with any questions, we would be happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
