6:05 pm flight out of MCO on 9/21/2024. What time do we need to leave our Disney Resort?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Antonia, and welcome back to planDisney. Getting to and from Walt Disney World Resort and the Orlando International Airport is what Tiggers like me do best. Let me share with you my process for leaving the "Place Where Dreams Come True."

Saturday nights are not usually busy going to the airport but you can never be certain of the time because of construction and unforeseeable events. I suggest leaving your Disney Resorts Collection hotel around 3:30 PM so you can arrive at the airport two hours before your flight. Leaving two and one-half hours early will give you plenty of time whether you take a bus, taxi service, rideshare, or drive your car.

If you plan to be at the theme parks until you depart for the airport then you may store your luggage complimentary with Bell Services at your Resort hotel or at Rental Lockers (fees apply) outside the theme park entrances.

Antonia, the biggest issue we have at the airport is the TSA line. Of course, CLEAR and TSA PreCheck help expedite the security process. I hope this information helps. Please free to reach out to me directly or planDisney for any follow-up questions or Disney vacation planning advice.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
