We have 8 pm dinner res at Rose & Crown in Epcot. Will we be able to view illuminations from pub?If not, where do you recommend staking out a spot? Also, will have 2 sleepy kids + 4 adults. Can you recommend an exit strategy (we are at Saratoga Springs)

    Hi Kim!

This is a great question. You can definitely watch Illuminations from the Rose and Crown. I recommend showing up to your reservation about 20 minutes early and explaining to the Cast Memebr when you check in that you would like an outside table to watch the fireworks from. Usually they will let you wait, but not always.

If you can't watch it from the restaurant, a good spot is just outside the restaurant on a bridge between the United Kingdom and France Pavilions. It provides a unique view and it is usually not too crowded.

There isn't a good exit strategy using Disney transportation. However, if you are willing to take a taxi back to your hotel, then I suggest going out the International Gateway exit right next to the bridge and to head over to the Beach Club resort; the Beach Club is about a 5 minute walk from that exit. From there you can take a taxi allowing you to avoid the crowds.

I hope this helps. Please write back with more questions.
