We have a 4:05 pm dining reservation at Ohana. Will we have enough time to watch the parade at 3 pm at Magic Kingdom and then head over to the Polynesian?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melissa!

Dinner at ‘Ohana is my all-time favorite dining experience at Walt Disney World Resort, you have made an excellent choice! Logistically, viewing Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and making it to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for your dining reservation will probably be too tight. I say this because although the parade starts at 3 pm, it will only get to Main Street, U.S.A. around 3:20 pm and end around 3:35 pm (all times are approximate). You would have the option of viewing it from Frontierland around 3 pm, but then you will have to walk out of Magic Kingdom Park through the parade crowd. You could also stay near the exit to view it, but then by the time the parade is over, you won’t have much time to get to the Resort Monorail and make 2 stops (1 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and 1 at the Transportation and Ticket Center) before stopping at your destination. I am not saying it isn’t possible, but if it were me, I would try to see the parade on a different day, or try to push back my dining reservation.

I hope my answer helps you with your planning and that you have a magical vacation! Come back to see us again real soon!
