We have a 7:30pm Cinderella’s Table reservation - fireworks are at 8:30 that night. Will we get to see them at all?

Welcome to planDisney, Samantha! Thanks for stopping by to bring us your question.

Oh, Samantha, what a dreamy evening you have planned! Dining like royalty at Cinderella’s Royal Table and catching Happily Ever After fireworks at Magic Kingdom? Talk about a night straight out of a fairytale! You might wanna grab those tissues and have them handy because if you’re anything like me, the fireworks and waterworks will be going off that evening.

Now that you have your tissues handy, let’s discuss your pixie-dusted plans. With a 7:30 PM reservation, you’ll likely still be savoring your royal feast when the fireworks light up the sky at 8:30 PM. While you might be able to catch a partial view of the fireworks from inside Cinderella Castle, the windows inside don’t provide a full view of the fireworks. But honestly, there’s something extra special about dining inside the castle during the fireworks. The colors dancing through the stained glass, the faint sound of the music swelling outside… it’s its own kind of enchanting.

However, if watching Happily Ever After in its entirety with views of the projections on the castle from the outside is a must, you might want to pace your meal accordingly. You can try letting your server know you’d love to step outside for a quick magical moment before dessert. Keep in mind that timing that might be challenging, and with the high demand of guests wanting to experience Cinderella’s Royal Table, it might not be allowed. You also don’t want to feel rushed during such a special meal. So, I would also recommend checking for alternate reservation times if you want to do both without compromising the experience of either one.

This restaurant holds such a special place in my heart. As a teenager, I remember sitting in this very dining room, watching my parents be all lovey-dovey over their meal while the castle glowed around us. It was pure magic. The kind of moment you remember forever.

So, whether you catch the fireworks from inside or head out afterward to soak in the full view, you’re in for an unforgettable, storybook-worthy evening!

I hope you experience a night filled with pixie dust, happily-ever-afters, and maybe even a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo moment of your own!  If you have any additional questions or need more planning tips, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us here at planDisney!

    Have a magical day! ~Emille
