    Have a 7PM ADR at Whispering Canyon Cafe on 9/7. Want to see the Electric Water Pageant from Wilderness Lodge at 9:35 . What is the best location for viewing? We will have a small child (12 year old) in wheelchair with us. Thanks for your all your help

    Hi Helen,

    I'd recommend going out to the boat dock (all handicap accessible) to watch the Electric Water Pageant.  It is a nice size dock that even has benches for people to sit by the water and enjoy the views. When the "parade" is over, take your time wandering back to the lobby.  I think this path is so magical and easy to forget you are in Florida!  

    Just a side note, one of our favorite wishing spots is in the lobby the Wilderness Lodge.  We stand on the little arched bridge that overlooks the bubbling springs and always toss a few coins into the springs to make some wishes.  Have you ever wondered what happens to all the coins/wishes?  When my father took a tour of the Wilderness Lodge, Ranger Stan shared with him that it is all donated to charity.  So neat!

    Have fun dining at the Whispering Canyon Cafe, but I dare you to ask for ketchup!
