    Have 7:55 PM ADR at Narcoossee's on 6/7/13. Going to watch EWP + 10 PM Wishes from Narcoossee's. How long will it take from WL to GF and GF to DD using Disney transportation and taxi? Cost for taxi for each? What time are CIF and shops open til @ DD?

    Hi Nicholas,

    In order to get from Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, your best option would be to take a boat to the Magic Kingdom Theme Park and then from there take a boat or monorail to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. The boat journey from the Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom Theme Park takes approximately 15 minutes. The boat/monorail journey from the Magic Kingdom Theme Park to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa takes approximately 15 minutes. You will however need to factor in up to an additional 20 minutes for time which may be taken waiting for the next boat/monorail to arrive.

    It takes approximately 25 minutes to travel by bus from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to Downtown Disney. Again, you will need to factor in up to an additional 20 minutes for time which may be taken waiting for the next bus to arrive.

    As a general rule, I always recommend allowing at least an hour when travelling from place to another using Disney's complimentary transportation service.

    The taxis at Walt Disney World are operated by a private company called Mears Transportation. To help plan the likely costs of any taxi journeys which you plan on taking, there is a taxi fare estimator available on their website which can be found at www.mearstransportation.com. Taxis are usually readily available but if for some reason one isn't, Guest Services will be happy to call one for you.

    The shops at Downtown Disney are generally open until 11.00pm Sunday - Thursday and 11.30pm Friday - Saturday.
