Hi Kerry,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Northerner! I completely understand your concern about fitting on attractions while visiting Walt Disney World Resort. One of my good friends is “pooh” sized too and it’s one of her big concerns whenever we visit a theme park, Disney or otherwise.
The good news is that you’ll find that most
Walt Disney World Resort attractions fit Guests of a wide range of shapes and sizes. At attractions where the ride vehicles may not be one size fits truly all, there is often a “tester” vehicle located outside, near the attraction’s entrance. Guests there can get familiar with how to load and unload from the ride vehicle, as well as get information from a Cast Member about any other potential fit issues. If you don’t see one at an attraction where you’re concerned you might have an issue, be sure to ask a Cast Member for assistance. There are usually one or two of them located at the entrance for each attraction. They’ll definitely be able to help you out, discuss how the ride vehicles are designed and offer you any tips or tricks that they might have boarding and unloading from the ride vehicle safely.
Based on my experience, you should be good to go for most experiences, but the one where I think you should definitely check the ride vehicle out before getting into the queue would be for
Avatar Flight of Passage. That’s the one attraction where I’ve heard that some Guests have had "fit" issues. Again, if you have any questions, be sure to find the Cast Member at the attraction’s entrance. They’ll be happy to help.
Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
