Being plus sized and not fitting in normal roller coaster seats at our local amusement parks...how are the seats on the roller coasters at the parks? Can the roller coasters fit plus sized people and if so, which ones?

    Hi Marla!
I'll answer this as straight-forward as I can...I am a former college football player and I am 6'3" tall and weigh 320 pounds, and I fit on everything in any park at Walt Disney World. Only one of the attractions in the parks has over-the-shoulder restraints which makes it easier on plus-sized guests. You should have no problem with the likes of Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain at Magic Kingdom. Space Mountain may be snug, but I am not certain (I fit). Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom has a lap bar, so that should also be a good one. Rock and Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios does have an over-the-shoulder restraint, but I fit no problem!
I hope this helps ease your concerns a bit, and I wish you a Magical stay!!
