    I am a plus size. I am very interested in purchasing clothing while at Disney. Can you give me the names of shops who carry plus sizes?

    Hi there, Judith!

    Being a plus-sized girl myself, I'm going to be really honest with you about plus size clothing at the Parks. The largest size I have seen carried at the stores on property [including The Emporium and World of Disney] has been a 2X. Their sizes run small and the 2X is more like an XL by most standards. I'm a bit "fluffier" than an XL, and I'll admit, it's hard to see the insanely cute things that I'd wear in a split second, but can't because they don't have my size. FEAR NOT, I have some ideas for you to create your own Pixie Dusted clothing before your trip that will have people stopping you at the Parks asking where you got your shirt!

    There is an online forum at Disboards.com with a "Creative DISigns" section under "Just for Fun". Once there, you'll find some of the most amazing artwork you've ever seen! The artists personalize and create such fantastic designs and you'll be able to see examples of their work. You can even ask them to make you something specific! I've taken a photo of a shirt while on vacation at Walt Disney World and asked to have something similar created! WomanWithin.com has plain polo and t-shirts in 15+ different colors that you can use for your DISigns. You'll also need to get some iron-on transfers, you can find them at local craft stores. It's so easy to do, even for someone like me who's not the most creative person on the planet!

    There is also the Design-A-Tee shirt shop in the Downtown Disney Marketplace. You can create customized t-shirts via kiosks and have them printed while you wait. The artwork to choose from is regularly updated! The last time I was there, they carried sizes up to 5X.
