Hi there, Diana!
Welcome to
planDisney! Like Rapunzel stepping out of her tower with Flynn Rider, today will truly be the Best. Day. Ever! - because you're arriving at
Walt Disney World! Let's talk about what to expect from your accommodations.
With few exceptions, you will not find electrical outlets on the balconies of
Disney Resorts Collection hotel rooms.
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort,
Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and one-bedroom villas and larger at
Disney's Old Key West Resort provide outlets in their exterior spaces, but other resorts typically do not.
When it comes to plugging things in and charging devices
inside your room, you're in luck. Disney resort rooms are well-equipped with outlets and USB ports. In fact, my husband and I once pulled a long charging cord out onto the patio to keep our phones nearby while our little ones snoozed inside. Just remember to close the door all the way to keep those Florida mosquitos from sneaking into your sleeping space.
I hope this is helpful, Diana. Best wishes for an unforgettable vacation this week, and please reach out if there's anything we can do to make future trips even more special.
You've got a friend in me,
Betsy
