Hello there Becki and welcome to planDisney!
As a frequent global explorer I can only understand all too well the concern when it comes to venturing out to distant lands and hoping that you've got the right adapter that fits with the right plug or socket. (Being prepared in advance definitely avoids any last-minute scramble to find a local electronics store in the middle of the night with your device batteries running out!) I recently had the opportunity to be hosted by planDisney at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort when we filmed an episode of the
planDisney Podcast during the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts and am glad to be able to assist you with this quandary!
During my most recent stay, I found that the outlets situated
around my room were all three-prong from the bathroom to my bedside. In fact these were often accompanied by USB ports which was very handy for charging my devices over the course of the stay! One of the great things about
staying at a Disney Resort Hotel is that the Cast Members really do what they can to assist; one of my dearest friends who flew over from Australia to visit had completely forgotten her travel adapter and luckily was able to borrow one after a quick visit to the Front Desk. While this is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed, it's always worth asking!
During your stay I highly recommend taking some time to enjoy the
Lost City of Cibola Pool with its huge pyramid looming over the water; just don't be tempted to climb it, they've placed warning signs hoping to deter aquatic adventurers from trying to scale its steps just over a year ago! I hope that this was useful in helping you pack and prepare for your upcoming journey Becki; don't hesitate to
come back to planDisney again for any more tips and advice before you make your way over here!
Here's hoping that the only sparks you'll encounter on your trip are just the ones that stimulate the imagination!
