Pls help! I have a bulky DSLR camera &a small point & shoot.Would like to bring DSLR along every day for awesome photos BUT don't know what to do with it when on roller coasters and other rides. I would hate for it to get wet

    Hi Katie!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

I bring a digital SLR camera with me on most of my trips to Walt Disney World.  You can bring the camera with you on all of the rides at Walt Disney World.  That includes the roller coasters!  I usually either stuff the camera in a camera bag or in a backpack.  You can take a small to medium size backpack with you on all of the rides.

The only rides that really concern me are Kali River Rapids in the Animal Kingdom and Splash Mountain in the Magic Kingdom.  That is because you can get wet and even soaked on those rides.  I basically put everything of value in a zip lock bag and then put that in the camera case or backpack.  If I'm worried about the case or backpack getting wet, then I just get a Disney bag from a store (just ask a Cast Member for one) first.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
