Ahoy there, Nicole!
We are so glad you charted a course to planDisney today! You are setting sail in a little over a week on the Disney Dream...can you believe it? Let me get you this answer lickety split because you’ve got a Disney ship to catch and some travel documents to upload for your
Online Check-in!
According to the
Passport and Travel Documentation page on the Disney Cruise Line website, a photocopy of a state-issued birth certificate is acceptable. In other words, a certified copy is not required. Just make sure that it is indeed a state issued certificate; a hospital issued birth certificate will not work.
So go ahead and upload those documents now so you can complete Online Check-in and get that Port Arrival Time assigned. This is especially important now because Guests are currently NOT allowed at the terminal or in parking areas before their scheduled Port Arrival Time and will be turned away if arriving early.
I hope you have also gone ahead and registered your toddler for time in the Youth Clubs.
Disney’s Oceaneer Club and
Disney’s Oceaneer Lab are tailor made for kids ages 3-12, but for now, they are requiring that parents or guardians reserve one session per day in these Youth Clubs. If you have questions about how this works, check the
Before You Leave Home tab on the Experience Updates page.
Nicole, have a DREAMy vacation and enjoy every second on your Disney cruise!
