Greetings, Andrew!
Welcome to planDisney! I am delighted that you stopped by with your question. A springtime trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth is a great way to escape the winter blues and enjoy warmer weather and sunshine. And speaking of sunny days,
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort offers some great amenities to help your vacation feel like a tropical getaway when you are spending time outside of the parks. Sandy beaches with relaxing hammocks, gorgeous landscaping, and a
fantastic pool will transfer you from theme park mode to island time in minutes. While I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that you will find yourself impressed with Disney Caribbean magic this spring, I completely understand that plans change! Let's go through the basics of the current cancellation policy, just in case you need them.
You can cancel a
Walt Disney World vacation package 30 days prior to check-in without penalty (minus any travel protection plan purchases or third-party add-ons). If you cancel a vacation package 29 to 2 days before your arrival, your deposit will no longer be refundable. No shows or cancellations of one day before arrival will not be offered a refund and will be responsible for the full package price. You can find all of the details about cancellations and
vacation package terms and conditions on the Walt Disney World website. Should your upcoming reservation be a "room only" booking, and not a vacation package,
you can cancel up to five days before arrival and receive a full refund.
Now that you have the details about cancellation policies, I want to share an important pro tip about what you should do in the very near future if this amazing adventure is a go! Andrew, I cannot express enough just how important making your
Park Pass reservations for your upcoming trip is. March may feel like an eternity away, but life gets busy. And before you know it your trip will be just around the corner! If you know what theme parks are on your must-do list, I recommend making your reservations now. You can change them later (
based on availability) if your itinerary changes, so there's no downside to crossing this item off of your magical to-do list. I would feel terrible if you arrive ready for the best trip ever, only to find your favorite park has no availability during your stay.
We hope to see ya real soon!
