Hi, Can you please me what time fireworks are at MK and Epcot in October?

Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brenda!

Oh, Walt Disney World in October--what a spectacular time to visit!

The parks and resorts will be showing off their festive fall decor, making an already magical place even more beautiful. In addition, special events such as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot International Food & Wine Festival can enhance your visit with moments you cannot experience at any other time of the year. Well planned!

Fireworks & Nighttime Spectaculars generally occur near Park Close, and the best place to keep an eye on those times is on the Park Calendar pages on Walt Disney World's website. (You can find that by hovering your cursor over the Parks & Tickets tab near the top, then look to the right of the window that opens. Under "Park Hours for..." you'll see "More Hours"; click that and you'll get to Park Calendar pages.)

On the day of your arrival, Magic Kingdom Park closes at 8:00, so you'll notice that Happily Ever After occurs at 8:00 as well. That breathtaking fireworks display will occur four times that week--on nights when the special ticketed event Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party does not occur. My favorite viewing location is directly in front of Cinderella Castle, but as long as you can see that castle, you'll be in a fine spot to witness this gorgeous display.

Over at EPCOT, you'll see that this park closes at either 9:00 or 10:00 the week of your stay, and Epcot Forever is scheduled to match Park Close on all of those nights. Pick a place where you can see World Showcase Lagoon, and you'll have the perfect vantage point from which to view this beautiful, unique event.

All park hours are subject to change, so be sure to keep an eye on that either on the website or by using the My Disney Experience mobile app.

We love capping off a fun-filled day of park touring with any one of the fabulous nighttime shows, and I know that you will, too!

As you plan your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Brenda, be sure to send us more questions. We love to help!
