Hello Lestyn,
Thanks for reaching out to planDisney for more information on the
Walt Disney World Resort water park hours later this fall. I completely understand wanting to plan out your vacation days and to know which tickets to purchase for these experiences.
I can confirm that
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon currently has operating hours posted through Saturday, November 4, 2023, and that
Disney's Blizzard Beach appears to remain closed through mid-December. I also do not see any notices of a Typhoon Lagoon closure for the season yet, so I’m hopeful that the hours will continue to populate in the coming weeks. Please keep an eye on the
park hours calendar for these hours to be shared for your vacation dates.
I know this isn’t the news you wanted to hear for detailed forward planning, but please be assured that
theme park reservations are not required for the water parks so you can purchase the ticket and enter for a full day of fun with little notice or concern of selling out. Since the operating hours appear to be posting about four to six weeks out at this time, I hope you can continue to check the calendar and have some reassurance prior to your travels.
The water parks are such a fun way to experience a refreshing day together outside of the traditional attractions, Lestyn. My family had such a great day at Typhoon Lagoon, and sharing an
ice cream sundae in a sand bucket for lunch is a memory my son continues to talk about. Be sure to keep an eye on the waves at North America’s largest wave pool – it's sure to be a wipeout!
Please let us know what other questions as you prepare for this fabulous vacation. We’re here to help!
Surf’s up,
Amy
