Could you please tell me more about the Walt E. Disney Suite in the Grand Floridian? Is it open to the public? I'd like to see the trains there that you described in another posting. Thanks!

There is a replica of a Carolwood Pacific locomotive inside the Walter E. Disney suite at the Grand Floridian. This space is not open to the public.

While the locomotive in the Walter E. Disney suite is a replica, two actual pieces from Walt’s collection are on display at the Wilderness Lodge.

Walt Disney train buffs should make their way to the Iron Spike Room at the Wilderness Lodge Villas. On loan from the Disney family are two cars from Walt's personal train as well as a piece of track. Knowing how much Walt loved trains and that he took special care to build this train in his backyard, it's awe-inspiring to be so close to this exhibit.
