Hiya Hayley!
Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! As a fellow international Guest, I understand that certain things may be different for us, and it's always a pleasure to help others plan their Disney vacations. Plus, your vacation is coming so soon, and you've picked the most wonderful time to visit!
You are correct that
international Guests have to show their passport, or a photo of their passport, with an ID card. However, at least one of those pieces of identification must be the original ID, so you would not be able to use two photocopies. Personally, I always either bring my passport or a scan of my passport with my driver's license. Also, make sure that your IDs are valid and unexpired, as expired IDs may not be accepted.
Now, Hayley, I thought I would share some of my favourite locations to get a drink after a long day in the theme parks! First, the Resort hotels have amazing lounges with beautifully-themed decors and menus. If you enjoy live music, I recommend stopping by
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter to visit the
Scat Cat's Club's Lounge. On select nights, you can watch a live jazz band play some of your favourite songs, and they even have beignets! Second,
Oga's Cantina at Disney's Hollywood Studios and the
Nomad Lounge at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park are two of my favourite locations. If you would rather avoid reservations, however,
EPCOT also has many booths and kiosks with delicious beverages. If anyone in your party also enjoys a sweeter drink, I highly recommend getting the Tokyo Sunset over in Japan or the
Ottawa Apple in Canada!
I hope this was helpful, Hayley, and that you will have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach back out! Getting to help fellow international Guests is always such a
treat!
Have a magical day,
Ariane
