Can you please tell me what time the last bus runs from Animal Kingdom lodge to Animal Kingdom? We are eating dinner at Sanaa on November 26th and would like to go back to the park for one or two more rides when we are finished.

Hey there, Alicia! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I want to take a minute to appreciate your excellent plan. Sanaa is one of my favorite restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort, and one of my very favorite Disney nights ever involved dinner and drinks at Sanaa and then a late night adventure in Magic Kingdom Park with some dear friends. We had the BEST time, and I know you will too.

So let’s talk logistics. When traveling by Disney Bus Transportation from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel to a Disney theme park, the last bus will depart from the resort one hour before the park’s closing time. I checked the Park Hours, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park closes at 9:00 p.m. on November 26, 2019, so the last bus should depart Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge at 8:00 p.m. I do recommend checking with a Cast Member at the resort’s front desk, as they always have the latest and most accurate information, and park hours are subject to change. You can also check bus departure times using the My Disney Experience mobile app.

If you don’t want to be tied to bus times when trying to squeeze in every drop of magic, you could also consider an Uber, Lyft, or the adorable, polka-dotted Minnie Van Service. I’ve had great luck taking these forms of transit around the Walt Disney World Resort, and you may find the time-saving is worth the price.

Enjoy that delicious meal at Sanaa, Alicia! Don’t miss the incredible Indian-Style Bread Service – it’s so good, I dream about it between visits. Last time, my server recommended the Malawi Mango Margarita, and it was refreshing, delicious, and the perfect accompaniment to the spicier dips. Enjoy every bite, and your wild nighttime adventure in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
